I have pale skin, I wear American Eagle but not a lot of black. I’m 13 and I mostly listen to pop, rock, metal, and electronic. I’m the only white person in my grade and the only person who listens to rock. I also know a lot about music. I have read entire books on gothic-rock, post-punk, and punk rock, but I don’t know much about emo. It kind of confuses me.
I have an obsession with wolves, werewolves, the moon, German silent films, dead trees, Wicca (although I don’t practice this religion) kind of stuff.
I’m just kind of confused. My friends call me EMO-PREP or just EMO but I don’t even understand what this is. Is this a trend or a lifestyle? Why exactly are they depressed?
I also DON’T cut my wrists. I’m afraid of blades.
